WHAT SETS ME APART?

What sets me apart is my ability to bridge creativity, data, and human impact.

Professional Background:

With experience spanning the entertainment-media industry and community-based nonprofits, I bring a rare perspective on how to navigate through the intersection of creative media, technology, and data.

Education:

My creative foundation began early, doodling in my classroom notebooks, then was formalized through pursuing higher education. Starting with a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts and then transferring to a a school in Southern California while working in Hollywood with a BA in Film and Media Studies from University of California, Irvine—training that sharpened both my visual communication skills and narrative thinking.

These disciplines now converge through my pursuit of a Master of Science in Applied Data Science for Business at Portland State University, allowing me to lead creative work with both intuition and quantitative insight.

Results:

I create work that is not only visually compelling, but strategically sound. I operate comfortably in both worlds: art and analytics.

WHAT DRIVES MY WORK?

Media. Fashion. Education. Equity. & Culture.

Born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area until my late teens, later relocating to Portland, OR I experienced firsthand both the education that comes from being immersed in cultural diversity and the limitations that surface when access and representation are lacking. If I wasn't doodling in my sketchbooks, playing competitive sports, playing my saxophone, skating, or messing around with the HTML on my myspace page as a kid, I was out exploring the different neighborhoods of San Francisco and Oakland. These early experiences shaped my passion for celebrating difference and deepened my commitment to creating inclusive experiences through digital media, community service, and education. My best work has been and will always be a reflection of my inner child.

From a fashion perspective, growing up in the Bay Area exposed me to a melting pot of culture. Sneaker culture, cultural aesthetics in streetwear, and the influence of the 00s hyphy movement, while my move to Portland introduced me to the relationship between apparel, environment, and self-expression. From retro Jordans layered with light jackets under San Francisco’s overcast skies to rain-ready North Face, waterproof Nike running gear, summer Keens, and winter Doc Martens in Portland, I came to understand apparel as more than style—it’s how we move through our cities, respond to our environments, and express who we are every day.

I’m driven by work that moves society and brands forward—particularly advancing women’s equity in sports, expanding authentic representation in fashion, and closing the digital divide through education. These values inform how I approach creative direction and strategy: who the work is for, whose stories are centered, and how access and impact are measured. I’m most inspired by projects that blend cultural relevance with measurable outcomes and long-term change.
